Horse Blanket Laundry & Repair Services
Before You Bring Your Blankets Please download and complete a laundry ticket before having your blankets serviced. Instructions are included on the form. No laundry or repair work will be accepted without a completed laundry ticket. Please place your blankets in a sealed plastic bag with: The completed laundry ticket enclosed Your name clearly marked on the outside of the bag Do not send wet blankets for cleaning.
Payment is not due until your blankets are clean and ready for pickup. There are no blanket minimums. If you only have one blanket that needs washing, we are happy to help. We also offer a free blanket and sheet washing loyalty program. Ask for your loyalty card! Appointments Required Blanket drop-off and pick-up are by appointment only. Please do not arrive at our home without a confirmed appointment. To schedule service, call or text Dan at 413-896-7644. You may also contact us through Facebook. If you do not receive a response confirming your appointment, we have not received your message.
About Our Service
All blankets are air dried. Turnaround time is generally one week, weather permitting. Large orders may require up to three weeks. We suggest hanging insulated blankets for several days before storage to ensure any remaining moisture can escape.
Pick-Up & Delivery Free pick-up and delivery is available within 25 miles of Ludlow for orders of 10 blankets or more. For orders of fewer than 10 blankets, a transportation fee of $25 each way applies. If you can get your blankets to us, you are in our service area. We also regularly service portions of Connecticut. Customers located between Middletown and Enfield can often take advantage of free weekday afternoon pick-up and delivery.
Blanket Preparation Requirements Please brush off loose dirt, hair, bedding, and debris before bringing blankets to us. Blankets heavily soiled with mud, manure, excessive hair, or other debris may incur additional cleaning charges. Customers can avoid these charges by checking tail flaps, straps, and closures and removing accumulated debris before drop-off.

Repair Services
We accept customer-washed blankets provided they are clean enough to work on. If a blanket arrives too dirty for repair, we will wash it and bill accordingly. There are no repair minimums. Some small repairs are complimentary with blanket service. Repair work is generally billed at $9.00 per fifteen-minute increment. We always choose the most economical billing method, whether that is a flat rate or hourly rate. If repair charges for a single blanket are expected to exceed $35.00, we will contact you for approval before beginning work. Common Replacement Repairs Replace surcingle with hardware: $15.00 Replace front closure hardware: $15.00 Replace leg strap including hardware: $10.00 each Replace front closure Velcro: $5.00 per side For alterations, custom sewing, or repairs not listed above, please contact us to discuss your needs.
Payments We accept: Cash Check Zelle Blanket Pickup Policy Customers will be notified when their blankets are ready. Blankets not claimed within 30 days of notification will be considered abandoned unless other arrangements have been made. Lost Blanket Policy Claims for lost blankets must be accompanied by the laundry ticket submitted with the blanket. While we have never lost a blanket, liability is limited to $100 per blanket.
